Tresind is a place where culinary dreams are made of and if I’ve to use one word to describe my experience at Tresind, it would be WOW. Every season there is something new and unique. This multi-award winning restaurant is constantly working on new concepts.
Tresind has introduced a new menu with some fantastic new concepts. Couple of days ago, we visited the restaurant for lunch and tried the new menu.
Located on Level 2 of Voco Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, Tresind is a Modern Indian restaurant offering a glamorous take on traditional Indian cuisine. Be ready to be dazzled by the live theatrics and magic of molecular gastronomy.

The interiors of the venue is contemporary, chic and classy with a great view of the bustling Sheikh Zayed Road. It has a main dining area/restaurant, lounge and a bar. Tresind is fronted by award-winning Chef Himanshu Saini and a team of young and dynamic chefs.
We tried the Chef’s Tasting Menu which has 2 options- vegetarian and non vegetarian. Being vegetarians we went for the veg option. While we were going through their drinks menu, we were served 4 different kinds of Amuse Bouche.

Whether it is non alcoholic or alcoholic drinks, Tresind offers the very best. We liked both our drinks- Berry Blast and A Cup of Indian Tea.

Next we had their signature Modernist Chaat Trolley. The chaat trolley was wheeled in to our table to create live chaat on the spot. The exquisite flavors of the chaat took our taste buds on an adventure.

After that our 3 starters arrived one by one. Ghee Idli, Madras Gun Powder or Podi Idli, Flame Roasted Baby Corn, Corn Butter, Jalapeño Salsa and Portobello Steak, Molcajete Chimichurri Chutney.
All the above starters were made table side and all the 3 of them had deliciously amazing and different flavors. They were so good that we asked for a second helping.
To get us ready for main course, we were offered Palate Cleanser which was a refreshing berry Sorbet.

Our main course consisted of 3 curries- Pumpkin Salan, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Papad Crusted Matar Tikki, Red Chili Curry and Morel Lababdar, Truffle Oil Tadka, Field Mushrooms. The curries were served along with Indian Bread and Rice.
All the 3 curries were rich and heavy but nevertheless they were flavorsome and delicious. My friend loved the pumpkin salan where as morel lababdar was my absolute favorite. The morel lababdar is a must-try for all mushroom lovers. The freshly made Indian bread and rice went very well with the curries.

The best part of the tasting menu was the dessert and we tried two of their most popular ones – Inspiration Kulfi Falooda, I loved the innovative twist on the traditional kulfi falooda. And the next dessert Black Forest 2.0 was made by our table side. It not only looked creative and artistic, tasted utterly indulgent and oh-so-delightful.
We enjoyed our culinary experience at Tresind. The new menu is excellent, each and every dish is perfectly crafted. As always the plating is on point. The impeccable service and sublime atmosphere complements the good food and drinks.
