We always get nostalgic when we dine at Teatro as it is our go-to restaurant for special occasions from a very long time. Last week we visited them to try their newly introduced Hawaiian Themed Menu featuring Poke Bowls.
Located on Level 3 of Towers Rotana in Sheikh Zayed Road, Teatro is a spacious restaurant and bar with a spectacular view. It boasts of classy, chic and contemporary interiors.
My favorite part of the venue is the glass encased walk-in wine cellar which houses an impressive selection of wines. The unique element of the restaurant is the cork collection displayed at the entrance.

As we entered Teatro, we went over to their bar first and had a drink. After that their staff escorted us to our table.
In addition to Teatro’s regular menu that features different cuisines like Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian and European, it has a new menu offering Hawaiian inspired poke bowls.
The immensely popular and healthy Poke bowls are trending not only in UAE but all over the world. They are nutritious yet delicious. Teatro’s poke bowls offers something for everyone, they’ve a vegan poke bowl too.

While we were sipping on a glass of White Wine from South Africa, we ordered two poke bowls- the vegan Hawaiian Tofu Poke Bowl and hamachi based Teatro Signature Poke Bowl.
Both the poke bowls were distinctly and deliciously different with exquisite flavors. It was a bowl filled with goodness and we enjoyed it.
Teatro’s Thai Green Curry and Jasmine Rice is one of our favorites and we always order it. As our side, we had the delectable Baby Bok Choy with Black Mushrooms.

Now coming to our most awaited part of our dinner which is the dessert, we ordered two of them. The Lime Coconut Bar with pineapple sorbet from their new menu was refreshingly good and oh-so-amazing. The classic Lemon Tart with passion fruit coulis and fresh berries was delicious too.
Our dining experience at Teatro was fabulous, the new poke bowls menu is worth trying. Everything from the atmosphere, decor to food, drinks and service was excellent. The prices are a bit steep.
