This summer I’ve been exploring Al Khawaneej area in Dubai and the ranch-inspired and rustic Last Exit in Al Khawaneej has become my favorite foodie spot. The food trucks in Last Exit offers eclectic dining options. You can either sit in your car and enjoy a meal or sit outdoors in the rustic-chic atmosphere and have your meal at leisure.
The Grill Farm is a food truck that serves international gourmet food and is headed by talented Chef Kevin. Their menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We tried couple of breakfast items as well as dishes from their lunch/dinner menu.
We started off with beverages first. They serve cold and hot beverages. Both our drinks Passion Fruit Mojito and Sunset Chill were refreshing.
From their breakfast menu, we ordered Avocado on Toast and Pistachio Waffle. The avocado on toast was wholesome, nutritious and tasty with multigrain seed bread, scrambled whole eggs, tomato relish and micro sprouts.
The pistachio infused waffle was served with whipped cream and pistachio ice cream. It tasted utterly delightful.
The Couscous Salad had a mix of great ingredients like couscous, feta cheese, pickled beetroot, pomegranate, coriander and pesto. It was super healthy yet delicious.
The Mac & Cheese was okay. It is a simple dish and you cannot go wrong.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Grill Farm. The food, the drinks and the service was good. If you’re ever headed towards Al Khawaneej, then look them up.
