I always get excited when I make plans to visit La Mer in Jumeirah as I love the beach vibes and the numerous dining options. Last Friday, my family and I were at La Mer to try the newly launched Beach Brunch at Osh.
Osh is a central Asian-inspired restaurant from London. It is a licensed venue that offers Uzbek cuisine. It is located in North La Mer close to the entrance.
Sprawled across two floors, Osh is a spacious venue with both indoor and outdoor seating. The terrace offers a spectacular view of the Dubai skyline and the beach.
We loved the blend of traditional central Asian-inspired interiors with modern interiors in Osh. There was a live DJ as well as a live singer which gave Osh a fun party place vibe. I am happy to note that their Friday Beach Brunch is a family-friendly affair and my kiddos had a good time.
Beach Brunch at Osh happens every Friday from 12 Noon till 4pm. The brunch is priced at AED 250 with food and soft drinks and AED 400 with food and house beverages. It is AED 150 for kids aged 6-12 years and kids below 6 years are completely free.
While we adults opted for Wine, the kids enjoyed fresh Juices from their live juice station. Food was buffet and it had classic Uzbek cuisine as well as international cuisine. The spread was not very huge, but it had good options. A bit more variety would have been great.
The buffet spread had salads, cold and hot starters, breads, mains and desserts. Our favorites were Garden salad, Avo on toast, Pumpkin Manti, Lepioshka, Festive Osh and Honey Cake.
We liked the fact that the food was fresh though it was a buffet. The health conscious foodies also have healthy and nutritious options.
If you’re looking for a fun Friday brunch with beach vibes then you can definitely consider Osh. A great location with spectacular views, good food and drinks, amazing music and a lively atmosphere…that sums up Osh.
