Discovered a healthy food concept called Freshii in Bay Square, Business Bay recently. It was first opened in Toronto in 2005 and now they have more than 50 locations worldwide. Freshii has 4 outlets in Dubai and we visited their Bay Square outlet yesterday for lunch.
The minute we stepped inside the Freshii venue in Bay Square we liked it. The bright and minimalistic interiors of the place oozes positivity. It is a cute and cosy venue with an indoor and outdoor dining area.
On the Tuesday afternoon when we were there, it was packed with office-goers. But the super efficient staff took good care of us and helped us with our order.
Concept of Freshii according to the team:

Think: fibre-rich, slow-burning carbs, essential fats and lean proteins. We also live by our Mission Green and use eco-friendly and natural products.
Freshii’s menu features breakfast, soups, salads, burritos, wraps, rice bowls, yogurts along with juices and smoothies. They’re vegan and vegetarian friendly.
We started with drinks first and ordered Red Power and Mighty Detox. Both were freshly juiced and tasted amazing. We also tried the newly introduced Coconut Water which was refreshing.
The comforting and nourishing Asian Veg Soup had veggie broth with rice noodles, carrots, celery, edamame, spinach and corn. The quantity was huge and can be shared between 2 people.
Next we had the light and delicious Cobb Salad. We liked the combo of romaine leaves, avocado, blue cheese, tomatoes and corn in honey Dijon dressing.
Freshii has a wide range of rice/quinoa bowls and we had Pangoa Bowl. It was a wholesome and flavorful bowl with brown rice as a base along with avocado, black beans, aged cheddar, corn, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, lime wedge and fiery bbq sauce.
The pictures of burritos looked so tempting in their menu that we had to order. At Freshii, the regular bread can be substituted for whole wheat or spinach bread. We ordered our Khao San Burrito with spinach bread. The Khao San had a filling of brown rice, spinach, almonds, edamame, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, spicy peanut sauce and lemongrass sauce. It was one of the tastiest burrito that we had in a long time.
Our dining experience at Freshii was amazing. Loved the healthy, fresh, nutritious and delicious food and drinks. Whether you want to dine-in or order delivery- Freshii is a great choice. All you healthy foodies out there…try Freshii now and thank me later.
