Last Friday, we went for the coolest new brunch in town- The Urban Brunch at Urban Bar & Kitchen or UBK as it is popularly known. It is located in Movenpick JLT and its a brunch you wouldn’t want to miss.
UBK is a contemporary bar and restaurant with sleek interiors and lively atmosphere. Their spacious outdoor terrace is the perfect spot for a leisurely and relaxed brunch, especially during the pleasant winter season in Dubai.

The Urban Brunch happens every Friday from 1pm-4pm. It offers two affordable brunch packages, more details about the package in the end.
The upbeat live music kept us grooving throughout the afternoon. Plus there were big screen televisions, foosball tables, pool and darts.
After being ushered to our table by their friendly staff, we were given information about the brunch. The drinks and the desserts come to the table. For the salads, starters, mains, bbq and grills there were buffet counters.
The food selection was not extensive and it had simple comfort food. Some of the dishes we liked were beetroot salad, Empanadas, fish Tacos, Chicken wings, mini sliders, Mac ‘n’ Cheese and Thai green curry.
At the BBQ station, you can select your meat cuts and the chef would barbecue it for you.
The drinks kept flowing and the sharing dessert platter had delicious treats like chocolate cake, brownie and tart.
We enjoyed the brunch at UBK. Loved the friendly and positive vibes of the venue. If you’re looking for a relaxed and fun brunch with family and friends then you can consider UBK.
