Baker Street Cafe- Cozy Cafe Serving Wholesome Food in JLT

Homemade pasta

Hello February! Yes it is my favorite month of the year and to celebrate the beginning of February, I visited a cozy little bistro – Baker Street Cafe in the JLT neighborhood. It was the perfect start to the month and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to begin my culinary journey for the glorious month of February.

Baker Street Cafe is an unpretentious bistro with tastefully done decor that oozes warmth and friendly atmosphere. This charming cafe with comfy and cute interiors has an indoor and outdoor dining area.

Open from early in the morning till 10pm in the night, Baker Street Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.

What we liked most about the cafe is the personalized attention we got as the owner Nada herself was around and helped us with what to order. She is a hands-on and passionate owner who is always there in the cafe. If you ever visit the cafe, make sure to ask for recommendations from Nada.

Their menu features breakfast selection, healthy salads, scrumptious sandwiches, lush baked potatoes, prolific pastas, delectable desserts and cakes along with freshly brewed coffee, tea and cold beverages.

Jacket potatoes

We started with a healthy yet tasty Fresh Lemon, Cucumber & Mint Juice. Their drinks menu also has shakes, smoothies, healthy fresh juices and soft drinks. So there is something for everyone.

I am not exaggerating when I say Baker Street Cafe serves the best Jacket Potato in town. We ordered our Jacket Potato with cream cheese and spring onions with extra avocado and corn. It had crisp and crunchy exterior and meltingly soft interior. An absolute must-try!

Next we ordered the Roasted Almond Goat Cheese Sandwich. You get to choose the bread for the sandwich from their freshly baked bread display. We went for the granary bread. Though our panini sandwich with goat cheese, pomegranate, rocket leaves and roasted almonds looked good, but tasted quite bland.

From their pasta section of the menu, we liked the Sun Dried Tomatoes & Rocket Fusilli. It was delicious, flavorful and wholesome.

Molten chocolate cake

To satisfy our sweet cravings we had the super indulgent and scrumptious Molten Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream. We ended our afternoon with a cup of Cafe Latte.

Overall, we enjoyed our lunch experience. The food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere is fabulous. We will visit them for breakfast next time.
