We are still reminiscing about our fun and fabulous Saturday evening. Yes, it involved burgers, drinks, music and games in a lively atmosphere. The World Burger Tour event was launched at Double Decker, the British pub at Roda Al Murooj and we were one of the first ones to try it out.
The British themed pub Double Decker has been around for a long time and its a favorite among the expats. No wonder, it has become a Dubai institution.
Sprawled across two floors, Double Decker has a collection of London’s famous bus and underground memorabilia. Their menu features most of the British classics as well as international cuisine.
The burger event takes place in the outdoor gardens of Double Decker from 7pm until 10pm. You can expect a plethora of mouth-watering burgers, delicious finger food and sweet treats along with amazing drinks.
The burgers and mini-burgers came in different flavors like beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetarian. We also got to build our own burgers and their specially curated burger stations is a dream-come-true to any burger lover. The variety of food served to our table was good.
Though we didn’t take part in burger eating competition, we enjoyed watching and cheering the contestants. Additionally there was guess the weight of the mini burger and other competition where you get a chance to win dining vouchers and even an overnight stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful event and we had loads of fun. The food, the drinks, the service, the music and the atmosphere was great. What a fantastic Saturday evening it was! We can’t wait to go back to DB.
