
January has been a month of new restaurants, cafes and lounges in Dubai. Last Wednesday, I was invited to meet the newly appointed American chef Adam Schorr who is an expert in various kinds of cuisines from American to French, Italian, Mediterranean and Asian at Pranzo and sample the new menu created by chef Adam and team.
Pranzo is a casual all-day-dining venue that offers buffet and a la carte dishes from the Mediterranean region. You can expect Mediterranean dishes made with authentic, simple and organic produce as well as a range of non alcoholic cocktails, healthy juices and soft beverages.
The contemporary-style decor of Pranzo is minimalistic, chic and homely. Its a great venue to share a meal with family, friends or colleagues.
As it was a media event, we were served dishes chosen by the team and we could also choose from their buffet selection.

I started off with a healthy mint based drink. There was bread basket at our table. All their breads are freshly baked in-house. Being a vegetarian, I only tried the veg dishes and I was not disappointed with the veggie options.
Healthy, nutritious and tasty Quinoa and Heirloom Tomato Salad was a great way to start our meal. Next we were served two kinds of pizza- Vegetable Pizza and Truffle Pizza. All their pizzas are freshly baked in a stone oven. The authentic taste of the pizza transported us to Italy. Porcini Mushroom Risotto which I had for main course was creamy and bursting with intense flavor of the porcini mushrooms. The risotto was extremely delicious. We ended our lunch with rich and indulgent Chocolate Brownie with ice cream and Tiramisu.
Pranzo exceeded our expectations, the quality and taste of the food was impressive. The service, the hospitality and the atmosphere was fabulous. Congratulations team Pranzo!
