Another Friday, another brunch that sums up October for me. This time it was all the more exciting as I was heading back to my favorite gastropub Bar Baar to try their newly launched Friday brunch- Thela Baar Brunch.
Located in the Majestic Hotel in Mankhool, Dubai- Bar Baar has been popular since the day it opened few months ago. I’ve enjoyed their club and various theme nights and couldn’t wait to try the new street food brunch that offered 65 appetizing dishes.

Thela Baar is basically a cart-driven street food. The Thela Baar Brunch at Bar Baar had me reminiscing about my childhood days. Their brunch is a street food paradise for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.
The Thela Baar Brunch will happen every Friday between 1pm-4pm. The brunch features 3 packages- AED 99(food only), AED 199(house beverages) and AED 259(premium beverages).
The moment we entered the venue, we felt like we were transported to a street food paradise in India. There was Live Breakfast Counter, Salad Counter, Chaat station, Live Tawa Counter, Sandwich & Burger Counter and Snacks. Main Course and Desserts was served to the table.
The food was fabulous, can’t complain about even a single dish. Everything was packed with authentic flavor and delicious taste. Our favorite was the Chaat Station.
The good food is complemented by creative and innovative mocktails, cocktails and other spirits. If you want to hang-on after the brunch, they’ve happy hours starting from 4pm.
Apart from the good food and drinks, there was live music and a DJ which gave the brunch a lively and energetic vibe.
Undoubtedly the Thela Baar Brunch is the best Desi brunch in town with a streetside punch. No wonder, we want to visit them barbaar(again and again).
