The brunch season is in full swing in Dubai and naturally our Friday calendar for this entire month is booked for brunches. Last Friday we visited the newly launched Backyard Brunch at Fire Lake Grill House & Cocktail Bar at Radisson Blu Dubai Waterfront in Business Bay.
It was our first visit to the swanky new hotel and the Fire Lake Grill House & Cocktail Bar is a great venue which is spacious and has an indoor and outdoor seating area. The contemporary interiors indoors, look classy and chic.
The terrace outdoors is stunning with spectacular views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Canal. With the weather cooling down in Dubai at this time of the year, it is perfect for backyard brunch.
We liked the fact that it is a family friendly brunch, they’ve a separate kid’s area with many activities. So the whole family is ensured to have a good time. The live American band Down Home was fabulous.
Whether you take a package with or without alcohol, you’ll love their refreshing and flavorful drinks that are perfect for brunches and bbq’s. I loved their live drink stations with creative flavors.
The backyard brunch features the best barbeque from smoked to charred meats to marinated seafood and coal roasted veggies, alongside classic American side dishes.
We were served starters, flatbreads and mains at our table. There were buffet counters for salads, grills and desserts. The variety at the live cooking stations was fantastic.
We enjoyed the food served at our table as well as the buffet. The healthy foodie in me was happy with all the nutritious and tasty salads from their buffet. My partner enjoyed the super fresh seafood nibbles and the bbq.
Their dessert room is not to be missed, so keep some space for the dessert in the end. We rounded it off with an aromatic pot of Green Tea.
Fire Lake Grill House & Cocktail Bar has the best backyard brunch in town and you’re guaranteed to have a good time. No wonder, it has already become my favorite brunch.
