This Friday I was craving for Italian food and wanted to try an Italian restaurant that I’ve not visited before. One of my friends recommended Certo Italian Restaurant. So I decided to give it a try and had lunch there.
Located in the Ground Level of Radisson Blu Hotel(West Tower) in Dubai Media City, Certo is an authentic Italian restaurant that offers a little slice of Italy as it follows and advocates real Italian way.
The modern and elegant interiors of Certo is very pleasing to the eyes. Its a spacious venue with natural lighting and comfortable seating. We liked the warm and friendly vibe of the place.
Whether you want to enjoy an aperitif in the lounge or have a full-fledged meal, Certo is the perfect spot. It is a family friendly venue. They are known for their family friendly brunches and business lunches.
After being seated, we were offered complimentary Bread along with the menu. They’ve an impressive wine and beverage list. We ordered a glass of Prosecco and Red Wine to drink.
Starters
Focaccia Al Pomodoro from their wood-fired oven was crispy and tasty. The classic Italian bake Parmigiana had layers of eggplant, mozzarella, Parmesan, tomato sauce and basil leaves. It tasted wonderful. We also ordered a platter of cubed Parmesan Cheese, Bread Sticks and Southern Italy Green Olives which went very well with our drinks.
Main Course
Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina was comforting and oh-so-delicious. Gratinated gnocchi paired with tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella was a perfect combination.
Risotto Al Broccoli, Ricotta Di Bufala, Acciughe, Pomodorini E Pane was the only dish we didn’t like as we found it lacking in flavor and taste.
Dessert
Pastiera Napoletana Con Granita Al Caffe was a simple cooked wheat Neapolitan tart made with ricotta cheese, candied fruit and flavored with orange and lemon essence. It was a light and delicious dessert.
Certo makes the best Affogato Al Caffe in town and definitely not to be missed.
We loved our dining experience at Certo Italian Restaurant. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the service was fabulous. Certo is a must-visit for all Italian food lovers.
