Wok Boyz- Customized Wok Style Asian Restaurant in Dubai

Wok Boyz Dubai

Yesterday was one of those lazy days, I woke up late and I was not in a mood to cook. So I decided to order food and I was in a mood to eat Pan Asian food and ordered food from Wok Boyz, a home-grown Pan Asian street food concept. This was the first time that I ordered from Wok Boyz, did I like the food? Will I order from them again? To find out, read on….

Wok Boyz has two outlets in Dubai, I ordered from their Sheikh Zayed Road outlet as it is closer to my home. While driving on Sheikh Zayed Road, you cannot miss their small but colorful and cool outlet.

Read about their interesting concept:

Ours is a story of our love for Asian flavors and three boys from Dubai who are passionate about great food and want to share it with the world.

We love the intoxicating, bold, intense flavors of Asian Street Food and the theatre of wok cooking. Enamoured with exotic Asian flavors we wanted to bring you the freshest, tastiest ingredients cooked to perfection in a flaming wok.

Their menu is simple and easy to order, the best part is, you can customize your meal in 5 easy steps. Whether you’re a vegetarian or a non vegetarian or a seafood lover-Wok Boyz has it covered. I loved the fact that they cater to the health conscious too.

Here’s what I ordered from Wok Boyz:

Wok style food in Dubai

To drink, I ordered Fresh Coconut Water. It was super refreshing and had a sweet nutty taste.

As I’m a vegetarian, I only ordered their veg dishes and I must say I’m happy with their veggie options. Tom Yum Soup is one of my favorite soups and when I saw it in their menu, I had to order. It was tasty and aromatic with distinct hot and sour flavors.

For the appetizers, I ordered Veg Spring Rolls that was crispy and delicious. Their signature Street Tofu was amazing, a must-try for all tofu lovers.

Now coming to the main dish, that is the customized wok-style Asian meal, I customized it according to my taste in 5 easy steps.

Step 1- Choose your base/carbs from many options like rice, noodles, mix veggies etc. I chose the gluten-free Quinoa.

Step 2- Choose your protein, I chose Tofu.

Step 3 – Choose any 2 veggies from a big selection. I chose baby corn, basil leaves and cherry tomatoes. Yes, I got tempted and selected 3 instead of 2.

Step 4- Choose your sauce or flavor. I was confused as all their sauces looked appealing, but decided on Wok Boyz Special which is the chili basil sauce tossed in garlic.

Step 5- Choose your garnish or topping. As I wanted a crunchy topping, I opted for the Peanuts.

I relished my wholesome, nutritious, flavorful and delicious meal. The portion size was large.

Ended the meal with the traditional Thai dessert- Mango Sticky Rice.

I liked everything that I tried from Wok Boyz. The order came on time, the packaging was good, the pricing is affordable and reasonable. Now coming back to my earlier question, YES! definitely I’ll order from them again.
