What is your daily dose of happiness? For me, it is a cup of coffee, first thing in the morning. Impossible to imagine my day without coffee. Jumeirah in Dubai has many great speciality coffee shops, and I came across a new cafe called Daily Dose. I visited them for breakfast last week.
Located close to Mercato Mall in Jumeirah 1, Daily Dose Cafe is a speciality coffee shop that offers perfectly crafted coffee and good food. Daily Dose Cafe serves breakfast everyday till 12 noon. They also have an all-day-breakfast menu.
As I had to have my early morning coffee fix, I visited them for coffee and breakfast. The venue is a spacious villa turned into a cafe. The all white interiors oozes serenity and beauty. It has a vibe of an urban coffeehouse.
This minimalistic and Instagram friendly cafe is filled with potted plants. Its a great place to sit for hours together and work on the laptop. Whether it is catching up with friends or sharing a meal with family, Daily Dose Cafe has it covered.
I started off with their single Piccolo latte which was brewed to perfection. While I was enjoying my Piccolo latte was offered complimentary platter of Bread, dip, olives and Salad.
Eggs are one of my breakfast favorites and I ordered their Shakshuka in Indian style. It had scrumptious Indian style scrambled eggs called as bhurji with crispy thin Indian bread. It was fantastic.
Next we had Toast topped with Buffalo Cheese sautéed mushrooms and pesto. It was hearty and comforting.
Lotus Pancake and Chocolate French Toast were the next dishes to arrive. Difficult to say which was our favorite as both were excellent. Both of them were super delicious, rich, oh-so-spectacular and an absolute must-try.
As I had never tried Red Velvet Latte before, I ordered it here. It was too sweet, I should have stuck to my regular latte or flat white.
What a delightful time we had at Daily Dose Cafe! The coffee, the food, the service, the interiors and the atmosphere was awesome. I can’t wait to visit them again. Now I know where to go for my dose of happiness.
