Another great weekend comes to an end. But yes, there is always a next weekend and I can almost see it. Speaking about my weekend, how can I forget about the Infinity Brunch on Saturday late afternoon at Shades chill-out lounge.
Every weekend on Friday and Saturday, Shades: the lounge and bar overlooking the infinity pool in the luxurious Address Dubai Marina hotel hosts a laidback and relaxed Infinity Brunch.
The Infinity Brunch starts from from 2pm- 5pm. It offers 2 packages-AED 288 inclusive of food and soft beverages. And the other package is for AED 417 which includes food and selected beverages.
Shades has a fun and lively atmosphere. The simmering waters of the large infinity pool looked stunning under the afternoon sun.
We sat under the shaded canopy enjoying the spectacular views of the Dubai Marina. Loved the chilled-out soundtracks that they were playing. They also had a live saxophonist, how cool is that!
At Infinity Brunch, you don’t have to queue up at a buffet counter to get your food. Everything is served to your table. They’ve a special Infinity Brunch menu that features a variety of cold and hot starters, mains, sides and desserts. They also have a decent beverage selection.
For our drinks we started with the Yellow Tail Bubbles and then later tried their cocktails- Cosmopolitan and Margarita. The drinks were fabulous.
We were offered complimentary basket of Bread. Next our cold starters arrived one by one. The Sushi Platter with wasabi and gari was fresh. Burrata Cocktail with greens and tomatoes were damn tasty. The Bruschetta loaded with veggies and cheese had a melt-in-your mouth quality.
The delectable Arabic Mezze consisted of creamy Hummus, smoky Babaganoush, fresh Salad and homemade Pita Bread.
For hot starters, we were served perfectly done popular Indian snack Cocktail Samosa, scrumptious Potato & Cheese Pockets, Spinach Fatayer, crispy Spring Rolls and oh-so-amazing Mexican Quesadilla.
We had so much to eat for starters that we were already full when our main course arrived. But we loved their juicy Cottage Cheese Steak and Vegetable Brochette. Along with our mains, there were sides like French Fries and Grilled Vegetables.
Last but not the least was their assortment of bite sized Desserts in a platter. We liked all their desserts, but the Mango Pudding was outstanding.
We ended our Infinity Brunch with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, Caffe Latte to be more precise.
We enjoyed the Infinity Brunch at Shades, one of the best Al Fresco brunches in Dubai. The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere and the music is excellent.
