Cool winter days calls for comfort food, don’t you all agree? Now with this glorious weather in Dubai, it is a perfect time to visit Dubai’s pristine beaches. So we made a trip to Kite Beach in Jumeirah to enjoy the cool weather and have some family time together.
Kite Beach has very good dining options from restaurants to kiosks and beachside shacks. We decided to try this place called 25″ 55, a burger shack.
The name of this shack is derived from the latitude and longitude of Dubai which is 25″55″. This shack has an outlet in Mirdif after its popularity there, now they have opened an outlet in Kite Beach.
As it is a beachside shack, the seating is outdoors. We loved their cool and beachside chic furniture. Its a great place to put your feet up and relax while watching the marvelous view of the beach.
Their menu is small and simple. It consists of burgers, fries, drinks and ice cream. We ordered the super refreshing Pink Lemonade and Classic Lemonade.
They have three kinds of fries- the regular fries, Cheese Fries and Flame Fries. We tried the cheese fries and flame fries and both of them were loaded with deliciousness. We relished it.
Sadly, they don’t have a vegetarian burger and as a vegetarian, I was disappointed. They made us a veg version of Chicken Doritos that is stuffed with chicken, cheese and Doritos, by not adding the chicken. They did the same with the Dam Burger where they didn’t add the meat in our burger.
For dessert, we had their Lotus Ice Cream which was delightful. It had a mix of lotus sauce, vanilla ice cream and tiny bits of lotus biscuits. A definite must-try for all lotus lovers.
25″ 55 is a cool little place, worth visiting. I only wish that they add a veg slider or burger in their menu.
