Fridays are brunch days and this Friday I attended a fabulous brunch outdoors in the pleasant winter season of Dubai. And the best part of the brunch was that it was a complete Italian brunch, my favorite cuisine.
Every Friday between 1pm to 4pm, Brunello Italian restaurant in Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah offers an Italian brunch- Dolce Vita Brunch.
The Dolce Vita Brunch is a true taste of Italy that is inspired by the authentic setup of an Italian countryside. You can expect delicious Italian dishes prepared with traditional recipes.
Located in the ground floor of Kempinski Palm, Brunello restaurant has a charming vibe of a typical European restaurant. The ivory and white decor indoors gives it a classic and elegant look.
The lush green outdoor terrace area that offers the view of the hotel’s swimming pool and the beach looks inviting. As the weather is beautiful right now, we decided to sit outdoors.
We were treated to Live Music by the talented musicians who kept us entertained throughout the afternoon. While we were enjoying, our little girl had a great time at their kids play area where she took part in various kids-related activities. She absolutely loved their trampoline.
They’ve different kinds of brunch packages and we opted for the one with alcohol. Apart from having Italian Wine, we also tried some of their perfectly handcrafted Cocktails.
Dolce Vita Brunch is a relaxed brunch where there is a four-course set menu and dishes are served to your table from appetizers to dessert. Along with the set menu, they also have a buffet with a good selection of Italian dishes.
We tried both the set menu that was served to our table as well as the buffet. Compared to non vegetarian dishes, the veg selection is limited. But as a vegetarian, I was quite happy with their selection of dishes.
For appetizers, we were served Marinated Tomato & Basil Bruschetta, Truffle & Mushroom Bruschetta, Watermelon & Feta Cheese Salad and Caprese Salad. All the appetizers were super fresh, tasty and flavorful.
As our mains, we were offered two varieties of their delectable Pizzas– Margarita and Vegetable. The pizzas were freshly baked and tasted amazing.
We were also served two kinds of Pastas-Ravioli pasta with spinach and ricotta cheese filling that was served in a creamy white sauce and Penne pasta with veggies in a juicy homemade tomato sauce. Both the pastas were distinctly different and tasted utterly delicious.
For dessert, we were served Affogato Al Caffé which is vanilla ice cream with Italian coffee. It was incredible. We also helped ourselves to their range of desserts from their buffet. We especially loved their Tiramisu and Panna Cotta.
Their buffet selection featured a plethora of salads, soups, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, seafood, starters, pizzas, grills, mains and desserts.
Overall, the Dolce Vita Brunch was excellent. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the music and the service was top notch. Not only my husband and I, even our little girl had a fantastic time.
The Dolce Vita Brunch at Brunello Restaurant in Kempinski Palm is worth trying.
