Versailles Brunch at Brasserie Quartier- St Regis Dubai

Brasserie Quartier
I was back at the glamorous St.Regis Dubai after  almost a year, and this time to try their newly launched Versailles Brunch. The Friday brunch season is back in Dubai and one of the best Friday brunch I’ve been lately is the Versailles Brunch at Brasserie Quartier.

Located in the Level 1 of St. Regis, Brasserie Quartier is the luxury hotel’s French restaurant and bar. I always used to be amazed by how stunning the hotel looked from outside until I visited them and saw that it looks more spectacular inside.

After we ascended the spiraling stairway and entered Brasserie Quartier restaurant, we felt like we were in an different era. Loved the Versailles vibe and French inspired decor of the restaurant.

The ambience of the restaurant is classy, chic and sophisticated. This spacious venue has floor to ceiling windows. The place is well lit with comfortable and chic seating area.

Brasserie Quartier has a bar area and an open kitchen. The Versailles Brunch happens every Friday and they’ve three packages. We opted for the selected beverage package.

Live music at St Regis Dubai
The live music band at the brunch got us in a relaxed and happy mode. The drinks were served to our table.

Cocktail at Brasserie Quartier
While we ordered White Wine, we were also tempted to try their Signature Cocktails from their bar. Glad we also tried their cocktails as they were handcrafted to perfection and had us asking for more.

Vegetable crudités
Vegetable CruditésRanch Dressing and freshly baked Bread were served to the table. For the Salads, Starters, Cold Cuts, Seafood and Steaks we had to visit their buffet and live cooking counters.

Buffet at St Regis Dubai
Some of our favorites from their buffet section were the Cheese selection, fresh Mediterranean salads, various kinds of Breads, mini Sliders with Fries, live Pasta station, my fellow diner loved the variety of seafood. They had oysters to lobsters, clams and more. We also liked their small bite sized appetizers and canapés.

Barley risotto
For Mains we had to choose from their menu and we had choices like slow cooked salmon, braised beef cheek and barley risotto. As a vegetarian I tried the barley risotto with wild mushroom and rocket leaves while my fellow diner enjoyed the slow cooked salmon with braised fennel, citrus and dill sprigs.

I liked the fact that they offered me small portions of different kinds of pasta along with the risotto as there was not much choice for veg mains. The risotto was okay, but all the three pastas that I tried were fabulous.

French desserts
The main highlight of the Versailles Brunch was the dessert selection. They have a whole room dedicated to the desserts. So keep some space for their decadent desserts. They’ve a massive selection of cakes, cupcakes, pastries, chocolates, cookies and puddings.

Their desserts not only looked gorgeous, tasted amazing too. Some of the desserts that we tried and liked were Macaroons, Cupcakes, Doughnuts, Green Tea Cake, Toffee Pudding, Passion Fruit Cake and Ice Cream. How I wish I had started my brunch with dessert first!

Green tea cake
The brunch also includes hot beverages. We ordered a pot of soothing and aromatic Green Tea

Overall, the Versailles Brunch is fantastic, with really good food and drinks. Flawless service, beautiful atmosphere and electrifying music complimented the food and drinks. Looking for a stylish and luxurious brunch in a classy setting to celebrate the weekend!? Then the Versailles Brunch at Brasserie Quartier is the perfect Friday brunch to add to your calendar.
