Sometimes visiting a restaurant for second time, makes a world of difference. When I visited Ricetta eight months ago, it was newly opened and many of the dishes required improvement. And what a makeover they’ve had, only in a few months. Absolutely loved their food and can’t wait to visit them again.
Ricetta is an Italian restaurant and it is located in Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai. So glad that they’ve a good Italian restaurant in this part of the city.
Anybody can fall in love with the rustic and earthy Italian trattoria style of setting of the restaurant. The decor of Ricetta is tastefully done and looks very inviting.
Loved the bright colored walls, red and white checkered tablecloth, gorgeous tableware and black and white posters featuring scenes from Italy. The restaurant also features an open kitchen, bar and a lovely outdoor terrace with swimming pool.
Currently, they are running a promotion for the month of September where you can have unlimited pizza and hops(everyday-12 noon till 3pm/7pm-12am) which is worth checking out.
A good Italian meal tastes even better when paired with a good Italian wine. We ordered a glass of Italian Red Wine. They have a range of Italian wines, cocktails, mocktails and other spirits in their beverage list.
We were offered a complimentary platter of freshly baked Bread with two kinds of dips.
Appetizers
Insalatona Con Formaggio di Capra was a delectable salad with mixed lettuce topped with cherry tomatoes, grapes, beetroot, apricot, goat cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Bruschetta al Pomodoro e Basilico makes a great appetizer. We loved the fact that it was super fresh, crunchy and tasty.
Mains
They have a good selection of pizza, but we opted for ‘Make your own pizza’. So we got to choose our own toppings. Our Vegetarian Pizza had toppings like red onion, olives, bell peppers and spinach. Oozing with yummy cheese, the pizza tasted fabulous.
Tagliatelle with veggies in white sauce was the pasta that we ordered from their pasta section of the menu. Though they didn’t have a vegetarian option for Tagliatelle in their menu, they made it upon request. We relished this pasta that had a delicious creamy sauce and crunchy veggies.
Desserts
The Tiramisu was creamy, rich and bursting with great coffee flavors. It was served in a Martini glass.
Cassata Siciliano was such a delight. We loved this traditional Sicilian cake filled with ricotta cheese and garnished with candied fruit drops.
We enjoyed our dinner at Ricetta. The food, the ambience and the service was great.
