Jazz@PizzaExpress in JLT

Jazz@PizzaExpress, JLT Dubai
Pizza Express is one of my favorite pizza chain and I’ve visited their many outlets numerous times. Jazz@PizzaExpress is their only licensed outlet here in Dubai. And I’ve been wanting to visit this outlet since it opened and finally I visited them last month.

Located next to Movenpick Hotel in Cluster A of Jumeirah Lake Towers, Jazz@PizzaExpress is a hugely popular venue. When we visited them on a Thursday evening, there were many people waiting for a table.

The bustling venue was buzzing with people and excitement. A perfect spot to bring in the weekend. After being seated, we were handed their menu. They have added many new dishes to their menu and we tried some of their new additions in the menu.

Jazz@PizzaExpress is a spacious venue with cozy ambience. Its a casual dining restaurant with lively and energetic atmosphere. We never had a dull moment in this peppy place.

Jazz music at Pizza Express
This outlet has a stage for live performances, a dining venue, a bar area and an open kitchen. We liked the fact that, though it was crowded the service was quick and efficient.

Jazz@PizzaExpress has live music every day by some of the best musicians from all around the world. You can expect great jazz vibes and jamming sessions. We absolutely loved the American band that were playing that night.

Chianti wine at Jazz@PizzaExpress
Their drinks menu offers cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, beer, wines and other spirits. We ordered a glass of our favorite Red Wine from Chianti region of Tuscany, Italy.

Appetizer

Kale salad

Kale, walnut & citrus salad is a new addition to their menu. It had kale leaves with red orange segments, chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, toasted walnuts and red onions dressed in honey mustard and finished with shaved Parmesan. This salad was fresh, light and tasty.

Bruschetta “Originale” PizzaExpress is their version of bruschetta with tomatoes, red onions, garlic, fresh basil and pesto Genovese.

Stuffed eggplant
If you love eggplant then definitely you must order their new dish Stuffed Eggplant. It had baked strips of eggplant stuffed with mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, olives, Parmesan cheese and topped with pomodoro sauce. The stuffed eggplant was absolutely scrumptious.

Main Course

Lava pizza at Pizza Express

Lava is their newest addition to their pizza menu. It had Burrata cheese and basil torn over a baked pizza topped with olives, cherry tomatoes and chili oil. Their Lava pizza was baked to doughy perfection and this cheese-filled pizza tasted heavenly….yum!

Penne Pepperonata con Bufala was spicy and delicious. It had Penne pasta with spicy tomato sauce, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes and pitted black olives. The pasta was garnished with torn buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil.

Dessert

Salted caramel hazelnut Verrine

For dessert, we ordered the Salted Caramel Hazelnut Verrine and Filo Apple Parcel. Both these are new addition to their menu. We liked the Salted caramel Hazelnut Verrine, which had a nutty flavor and tasted extremely delicious. The Filo Apple Parcel was disappointing as it was not crisp, but soggy. Even the apple filling inside had too much cinnamon in it.

We loved our overall experience. The food, the drinks, the service and the music was amazing. We would be definitely coming back here and Jazz@PizzaExpress comes totally recommended by us.
