Friday is just a day away and I am sure most of the brunch loving Dubai foodies must be wondering where to go for Friday brunch. Well, I have just the option for that. It’s called as the Fun Dining Brunch. Begin the weekend with a brunch filled with delicious food, music and fun.
Fun Dining Brunch has been launched in December 2016 and every Friday Al Dana Restaurant in Crowne Plaza Dubai is the destination for this fun Friday brunch.
Al Dana is located in the 2nd Floor of the Crowne Plaza Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The Fun Dining Brunch features 13 restaurants and bars from Crowne Plaza Dubai. Whether you want to have steak or sushi, shawarma or pizza, salads or cold cuts or more -The Fun Dining Brunch has it covered.
The two live bands add to the entertainment factor. Delicious food, live cooking stations, great drinks, friendly atmosphere and energetic music makes it a perfect Friday Brunch destination for all.
This casual dining restaurant has a minimalistic decor and welcoming vibe. When I visited them with my kids for their Fun Dining Brunch, the restaurant was busy.
We started off with the drinks, while the kids sipped on their juices, I had a glass of white wine.
We were delighted to see such a good selection of cheese, breads, salads and cold cuts.
If you are Japanese food fan, you will love their Japanese section of the food spread from Wagamama and Sakura. We enjoyed their sushi and sashimi.
Italian cuisine happens to be the favorite cuisine of the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the Italian offerings from Al Fresco restaurant. The bruschetta and the risotto were good.
Al Tannour was serving freshly baked saj bread, shawarma, lamb ouzi, cold and hot mezze.
We relished the grilled pineapples from their Brazilian restaurant Chamas.
The seafood counter was amazing with a plethora of choices from shrimps to lobsters to oysters, fresh fish and more.
Trader Vic’s and Zinc served up some amazing drinks. Their wine counter offered good wines.
For hardcore meat lovers, there were steaks and other meat heavy dishes from their restaurant Western Steakhouse.
There is a separate pork section for non Muslims.
Plus there were food and drink offerings from their other outlets like Harvesters, Al Dana and Oscar’s Vine Society.
The main highlight of the Friday brunch was the dessert section. The dessert section featured cakes, cupcakes, puddings, cookies, ice cream and more. Waffles with ice cream was our favorite dessert. And I also liked the traditional Arabic sweets.
All in all a good brunch, only wish they had more vegetarian dishes.
