Last week of November luxury Belgian Chocolatier Godiva, launched it’s latest bespoke assortment of premium chocolates across all boutiques and cafes in UAE, just in time for the festive season. I was invited to be a part of this wonderful event.
It was an afternoon of sweet indulgence. For a chocolate lover like me, it was a sweet heaven.
Chef Chocolatier Jean Apostolou, who has a 32 year experience in this field, introduced us to Godiva’s Chocolate Haven in the Godiva Cafe at The Beach, JBR.
We not only got to indulge in their chocolates, we also sampled their festive cakes, tarts, pastries and drinks.
The most eagerly awaited, new festive collection includes a colorful range of fine Belgian chocolates that are packaged and designed to capture the holiday spirit.
Godiva’s festive 2016 collection also includes five new signature chocolates as part of the Buch de Noel-featuring festive flavors of spiced tea, chocolate, chestnut, hazelnut and coffee. The collection is a medley of intense aromas that is presented in a gorgeously decorated box.
Intense Dark Chocolate Log features caramelized cocoa nibs in dreamy dark chocolate ganache with a touch of cocoa powder, covered in a dark chocolate shell and delicately adorned with milk chocolate.
Céme de Mocha is a decadent smooth ganache with rich Colombian coffee and exquisite Belgian chocolate in a dark chocolate shell laced with white chocolate ribbons.
