Family Friday Brunch At The Eatery

Not so long ago, on a hangry(hungry and angry) afternoon I visited The Eatery for the launch of their Indian themed Friday brunch-Family Friday Brunch. It  was an Indian buffet featuring the flavors and spices of India.

The Eatery is situated at the Four Points by Sheraton in Mankhool, all their ‘social media handles’ show as Four Points by Sheraton Downtown and we ended up at Downtown Dubai with no Four Points by Sheraton in the horizon and had to take a detour and come back to Mankhool. That explains the hangry part.

Located at the Lobby Level of the hotel, The Eatery is an all-day-dining restaurant offering buffet as well as a-la-carte menu. Apart from Friday brunch they also offer various theme nights.

It is a casual dining restaurant with a modern and elegant decor. It is a well lit and spacious place with a cosy setting and a neatly laid out buffet counter.

Children's activities
The Family Friday Brunch at The Eatery offers separate kids corner with fun activities and special treats. My daughter enjoyed face painting, playing with a wide array of toys with other kids and watching Disney movies. She was delighted to find some of her favorite dishes in the special buffet for the kids.

Lemongrass drink
The buffet offers limited choices. There are 2 options-brunch with soft beverages and house beverages. We opted for the soft beverages package. We liked the fact that they were offering healthy drinks that were freshly made. I tried the refreshing Lemongrass drink .

Indian brunch

The Salad Counter had some of the staple Indian salads like Channa salad, Fruit chaat salad, Rajma salad and Kachumber salad along with some international salads.

Loved their Chaat Corner, where we can make our own Chaat.

Dubai Brunch
There was a live counter for Indian breads and Kathi rolls along with a variety of breads in a separate counter for Breads.

As for the Main Course, they served most of the popular Indian delicacies like Butter chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani, Biryani and more. We especially liked the Paneer and Biryani.

The Dessert Section offered Indian sweet treats like Gulab Jamun, Jalebi, Ras Malai etc. There was a selection of international desserts too.

We washed it all down with a hot cup of Desi Chai. It was served Indian style in a glass. A perfect way to end a Friday brunch.

The Eatery’s Family Friday Brunch is reasonably priced at AED 95 per person(soft beverages) and AED 199 per person(house beverages). If you are looking for a pocket friendly brunch with kid friendly activities then you can give The Eatery’s Friday brunch a try.
