Last month, I was introduced to a home grown concept started by a talented young man in Dubai. The name of the concept is The Custom Factory. It has been recently launched, The Custom Factory is an online store selling personalized and hand crafted products.
Products
The Custom Factory offers a wide range of products like keychains, passport holders, diary covers, clutches, pouches, wallets, luggage tags, sling bags, pen cases, phone cases, iPad cases, MacBook cases, laptop covers and more.
All their products are handcrafted and personalized according to our choice. The material that is used to make these products are of high quality. And all their products are durable, stylish, trendy and classy.
Cost
The prices of the products start from AED 25 onwards and goes up to AED 200.The pricing is reasonable and affordable.
To place an order
It is very simple to place an order. You can email them or send a direct message on social media sites like Facebook or Instagram. Once you’ve sent the message, they’ll send a brochure, so that you can choose the product and it’s color as well as accessorize according to your choice. After choosing your personalized product, you can place an order.
Delivery
The product of your choice can be collected within 2-3 days of ordering at Al Fahidi Street or if the location is close by, they do deliver it upon request. For far-off locations, you need to check with them.
My experience
I ordered 2 passport holders from them, one for my husband and one for myself. It was fun choosing the colors, charms and accessories of our choice. The best part was putting our names on the passport holders., it adds such a personal touch. Can’t wait to flaunt it, when we travel next.
