One of Dubai’s most popular home grown cafes, Lime Tree Café recently unveiled it’s delicious new Gluten Free Bakery. I was invited to this event at their Sheikh Zayed Road outlet.
Lime Tree Café celebrated it’s 15th Anniversary this year. Over the period of fifteen years, it has grown incredibly-from a team of 15 to 130, it also has three amazing locations in Jumeirah 1, Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Quoz.
Lime Tree Café is renowned for it’s simple, fresh, healthy and appetizing food. It is also one of the first locations in Dubai to sell Organic Fair Trade Coffee & Tea. Lime Tree Café ‘s philosophy has always been dedicated to freshness, community, carefully selected and organic ingredients.
I’ve been a huge fan of Lime Tree’s in-store products including Lime Tree’s diverse range of Chutneys, Preserves, Crackers, Flatbreads, Cookies, Fudge and Confectionery alongside kitchen and home ware items with bespoke Lime Tree designed linens. So naturally I was quite excited to attend the launch of their Gluten Free Bakery.
The launch of Lime Tree Café ‘s Gluten Free Bakery was inspired by its owner, Corinne Bowker and her personal struggle as a Coeliac sufferer and finding gluten free dining options in Dubai.
What can you expect from Lime Tree’s new range of gluten free products?
All products and ingredients used in the new range are gluten free certified and prepared by Lime Tree’s dedicated team of chefs.
I got to sample most of their gluten free products like Cakes, Slices, Muffins, Cookies, Artisan Crackers and breads. I also got to sample some of their gluten free desserts like Carrot Cake, Triple Layer Tiramisu, Chocolate Goodness, Wild Berry and Citrus Cake. It was a perfect mix of fun and flavor. They were lip smackingly delicious. I was amazed to find out that gluten free can be delicious and not boring. Their famous Carrot Cake’s gluten free version was fantastic.
The new range of Gluten Free products will be available at all their three outlets. The delicious range of gluten free cakes and breads will be available for pre-order and pick-up from all their outlets.
They also offer Gluten Free Catering and Party food for events and special occasions. They also have a Gluten Free catering menu and Gluten Free gifts and hampers.
