Last Friday I was invited to a bloggers event at Zuccero. It was a wonderful afternoon with lots of cake, coffee and good company. Let me tell you my short and sweet experience at Zuccero.
Located at the Dubai Festival City mall, Zuccero is a cute and cosy little bakery/cafe. The settings of Zuccero is gorgeous. I adored the pretty furniture and classy decor. Loved the ladylike uniform of the staff. It is a kind of place I want to go to catch up with my friends.
The meaning of Zuccero is sugar in Italian. And our experience was nothing but sweet. The first branch of Zuccero is located at Ajman and the Dubai Festival City branch is their second offering.
Our tables were lined up with trays of mini cupcakes of various flavors. Each of us had our own customized cupcake at our table.
My MEGa Yummy Cupcake was the super delicious chocolate ganache cake. It was rich, smooth and moist.
I tried many of Zuccero’s cupcakes and liked them all. But my top three favorites are the Red Velvet Cupcake, Ferrero Rocher Cupcake and the Bounty Chocolate Cupcake. Loved the carrot cupcake too. But unfortunately, didn’t take the picture.
The Red Velvet Cupcake had a smooth and velvety base with a creamy topping. It had a melt-in-the-mouth quality to it.
Ferrero Rocher Cupcake is a must-try cupcake for all the Ferrero Rocher fans. Being a huge fan of Ferrero Rocher, I just devoured it in 10 seconds. It was utterly delicious.
Bounty Chocolate Cupcake was another outstanding cupcake that I tried at Zuccero. It had chocolate cake as a base and layered with desiccated coconut and topped with a piece of bounty chocolate. It was sinfully scrumptious.
Carrot Cupcake was light, flavorful and moist. It was not too sweet. This delightful mini carrot cupcake was amazing.
Zuccero offers a great variety of cakes and cupcakes. They also offer breakfast favorites like croissants, muffins etc.
At Zuccero all the cakes and cupcakes are made without using chemicals and preservatives. Everything is freshly baked and that’s why all their cakes have that homemade quality to them.
Zuccero specializes in customized cakes. They bake cakes for all special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, baby shower etc.
Zuccero also has a separate drinks menu with wide range of beverages like coffee, tea, fresh juices, milk shakes, Frappes, lemonade and Zuccero specials.
I had an Espresso and also tried one of the Zuccero special-Cafe Delarossa.
Cafe Delarossa had a rich coffee blend topped with vanilla ice cream and a hint of cinnamon. It was aromatic and tasted sinfully delicious. Totally recommend Cafe Delarossa.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Zuccero offers high quality cakes that are freshly baked and taste extremely delicious. Zuccero is my go-to place for all things sweet and delicious.
