I was invited for a BBQ Master Class in Girders Garden with few other bloggers recently. The BBQ Master Class included a demonstration by their Head Chef Thomas. It was a well organized and informative event. We also tried all their specialties.
Girders Garden is located at the level 1 of JA Ocean View Hotel, Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Girders Garden has outdoor seating. It is a casual dining spot. It has a relaxed and friendly vibe. It has comfortable cane and wooden seating and dim lighting. Great music adds to the lively atmosphere of the place. It is a good place to catch live sports action on the big screen. They have a well stocked bar.
After starting off with a round of drinks, Chef Thomas started the BBQ Master class. Girders Garden serves amazing cocktails and mocktails along with other spirits and soft beverages.
Chef Thomas gave us a few tips on how to marinate the meat and various BBQ techniques. He also gave us an insight about the cooking method.
All their meat is cooked and smoked to perfection in the BBQ Smoker Beast by using cherry wood on a slow fire for up to 8 to 12 hours. The BBQ Smoker Beast is a humongous 1,600 lbs smoker from USA. You can expect tender and juiciest meat from this Smoker Beast.
There was a wide variety of salads, French fries, sweet potato fries, corn on cob, Nachos with Salsa, Grilled vegetables, Bruschetta, BBQ Chicken Wings,Beef brisket and Beef ribs.
We got to try four of their amazing sauces- Jack Daniels smoke pit special, Guinness BBQ sauce, Smoky Russian Smirnoff and No Booze BBQ sauce.
Girders Garden also has a Friday brunch. They have happy hours every Wednesday. The pricing for both the drinks and the food is reasonable. We had a great experience. Girders Garden is a must-visit place for all BBQ lovers.
