Jamaica Blue, the premium coffee brand opened a new outlet recently. This new outlet of Jamaica Blue is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their 24 hours menu offers All Day Breakfast. This is the second Jamaica Blue outlet to stay open 24 hours a day after it’s Flora Hotel branch in Al Barsha.
This outlet of Jamaica Blue is located at the Hyatt Place Hotel, near the Al Rigga Mosque, Al Rigga. It is quite easy to locate them if you are familiar with the Al Rigga area. We relied on our most trusted friend the GPS and reached in no time.
Already having visited their Flora Hotel branch I kind of knew what to expect. I love their coffee and pastries, especially the Baked Cheesecake and Carrot cake. But for the very first time I was trying their all day breakfast.
I love the concept of all day breakfast. Just imagine having a hearty breakfast anytime of the day. My husband and I went there on an early Saturday evening to try their all day breakfast.
This branch of Jamaica Blue outlet is spacious. It can accommodate 45-50 people easily. The decor is modern and stylish. I loved the comfortable seating, fancy lighting and urban cafe vibe.
Their breakfast menu has good options like continental breakfast, pancakes, French toast, Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Baguette, Vegetarian Breakfast, Sandwiches and other freshly prepared bakery items.
We started off with their amazing coffee, most of their breakfast items includes coffee or juice. Hubby had a cup of Cappuccino and I had a Flat White. The coffee was brewed perfectly with right amount of steamed milk and espresso. A single cup of their coffee can perk me up any time of the day.
We had French Toast, Vegetarian Breakfast and Jamaica Blue Big Breakfast.
French Toast was our favorite breakfast item in their menu. They have three kind of choices. We had our French toast with Caramelized bananas and butterscotch sauce. The portion size was big and the French toast tasted great.
Vegetarian Breakfast is an open toasted sandwich with grilled halloumi cheese,roasted tomato, mushrooms and pesto on toast. It was a bit bland for our taste buds.
Jamaica Blue Big Breakfast comes with eggs,beef bacon, chicken sausage, roasted tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms and toast. As we are vegetarians they replaced the meat with baked beans and cheese. It is the regular breakfast platter that is served everywhere. The portion size is big.
Overall we had a good experience. The pricing is reasonable and the portion size is generous. The service was quick and efficient. I like the fact that they source the very best coffee and use only fresh, locally sourced ingredients. No wonder they offer such excellent coffee. Their breakfast menu is good and it offers healthy options too. A definite must-try is the French Toast. They also have a kids menu. I wish we had some more room in our tummy to try their delicious cakes. Well, there is always a next time.
