Breakfast at Per Te- Business Bay

Last week we were invited to Per Te’s new branch in Bay Avenue, Business Bay for breakfast. We have already visited their Jumeriah branch couple of times and love the food served at that branch. There was nothing but excitement when we headed to the latest branch of Per Te on a Saturday morning.

Per Te is an Italian restaurant offering wide range of Italian dishes and mouth watering desserts. Food is presented creatively. They use fresh ingredients in all their dishes. It is run by passionate and hardworking team. Their motto is to serve good Italian food that is reasonably priced.

As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted warmly. We chose a cozy corner to have a relaxed Saturday breakfast.

The ambience of this branch of Per Te is casual, relaxed and laid back. The decor is rustic, cozy  and simple. It has an urban cafe vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is cheerful and friendly. They have a deli, bakery and retail section. The retail section is amazing, they have quality products sourced straight from Italy: chocolates, pasta, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, organic jams and other food products. They have an impressive collection, definitely worth buying.

I can never think of my morning without a hot cup of coffee. Hubby and I started off our breakfast at Per Te with a cup of Cappuccino.

The cappuccino comes with a croissant at Per Te. The cappuccino made with one part espresso mixed with one part steamed milk and topped with foam was dusted with cinnamon. It was perfectly brewed and best way to kickstart our morning.

Per Te’s beverage menu is excellent. They offer a great variety of coffee, tea, fresh juices, mocktails, frappe, milk shakes and smoothies.

Wooden tray stacked with freshly baked croissants were the first thing to arrive on our table. The croissants were freshly baked and served hot just out of the oven. The croissants were crisp on the outside and soft and moist inside. It was such a treat to start off our morning with these freshly baked goodies. At Per Te, they freshly bake croissants every two hours.

We had a mini breakfast platter. It consisted of  ciabatta toast, Omelette, sautéed mushroom, cherry tomatoes, grilled asparagus, mixed salad and hollandaise sauce. The omelette was perfectly made and went well with the freshly baked and toasted ciabatta and the veggies. The portion is big.

We had Saffron pancake next. It was beautifully presented in a big round platter. The pancakes were fluffy and came with vanilla and chocolate sauce and maple syrup. It was garnished with fresh figs, raspberries and mint leaves. The pancake was served warm and tasted rich, delicious and sweet. It was not too heavy like the other pancakes. I only wish they had given me more sauce. A definite must-try for breakfast is the saffron pancake at Per Te.

Per Te offers an extensive menu for lunch and dinner. It is a good place to go anytime whether it is for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or just for a cup of coffee.

The quality, quantity and the taste of food is good. All their breads are freshly baked in-house.  I love the way they present the food, Plating at it’s best: Just like beautiful work of art. Kudos to the talented and creative Chef Glady and his team. Per Te is a vegetarian friendly restaurant, they have a separate vegetarian menu as well as the regular menu. They have eggless option too. The food, the service and the ambience is great. Per Te is a place you want to come back again and again.
