I was not aware of Rails Billiards, until I got an invite to visit the place and enjoy some of the games that they offer and to also try the food and drinks which they serve there.
Rails Billiards is a newly opened gaming cafe in Jumeriah Lake Towers. It is very easy to locate the place. They are just opposite Cluster Y, they are located at the Red Diamond Building.
I took two of my friends along and off we went to check out Rail Billiards at JLT. We reached there at 12:30 in the afternoon. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and were shown the whole place.
Rails Billiards is very spacious place. It has a lively and energetic vibe to it. They have a computer gaming room with all kinds of gaming accessories. If I could borrow my son’s favorite phrase, I would say ” it was epic”.
They also have billiards tables, foosball and gaming consoles. We had fun playing foosball. We entertained ourselves with the gaming console. It was super fun.
They have a small counter, where you can order your food and drinks. The menu is limited. They serve coffee, tea, juices, milkshakes, smoothies, sandwiches, crepes, waffles and hotdog.
My friends had Oreo milkshake and orange juice and I had cappuccino as our drinks. We liked it. It was freshly made and tasty.
We had crepe with Nutella, waffle with Nutella and banana and halloumi cheese sandwich. We shared all these among the three of us.
We didn’t expect much from the food, thinking that the food will be sidelined in a gaming cafe. But much to our surprise, whatever, we tried was good. The crepe was amazing, very well made. So was the waffle. The halloumi cheese sandwich was made just the way we like to have.
The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. It is a great place to have a birthday party for a big kid. They also offer many deals like 20% student discount and ladies can play free of charge on Wednesdays.
Rails Billiards offers an amazing and fun atmosphere where people can enjoy games like billiards, foosball, ps4, network games with food and drinks.
It is a great place to hang out with friends over a game and some quick bite. I am certainly taking my son very soon. I am sure he will love the place.
