Pind Da Dhaba is an Indian restaurant specialising in Punjabi cusine. It is located at Al Karama. It is a part of 2 tier restaurant concept ,on the ground floor is the new Saleem’s of Delhi and above it on the first floor is Pind Da Dhaba.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is bright and vibrant, you feel as though you are transported to a village in Punjab. It is a Dhaba style eatery. The interiors are colorful, rustic, full of Punjabi paraphernalia.I felt as though I was dining in a eatery in a rural fair.Even the staff’s attire is colorful, which really blends with the place.
I have dined at Pind Da Dhaba couple of times. The food is good, but tends to be quite heavy and spicy.I like all their paneer dishes,Dal Makhani is very good.We loved their corn tikka.I would definitely suggest to have Sarson Ka Saag and Makki Di Roti.I had the Baingan da Bharta the first time I went and asked them to make it less spicy and I must say it was good. The rotis(bread) are freshly made and served hot. They also offer biryani and desserts. Both the vegetarians and non vegetarians have lot of variety to choose from. The beverage menu has a variety of lassi to choose from,
Kiwi lassi, mango lassi, raspberry lassi etc.But it tends to be on the sweet side. They also offer Jal Zeera,Shikanji,Chaach and regular soft drinks.
The service is quick, efficient and helpful. The pricing is reasonable.Pind Da Dhaba is a place where you can enjoy a slice of rural Punjab, right here in Dubai.
