Summer in Dubai is the best time to travel overseas as the weather is unbearably hot and humid. But if you have no travel plans, I would recommend few venues that I enjoyed dining recently.

1 Planet Terra at Ibis World Trade Centre
Planet Terra is a vegan restaurant with an all-organic menu. Expect wholesome dishes and a range of refreshing beverages in a boho-chic atmosphere. They recently opened a second outlet in Ibis World Trade Centre, their first outlet is located in Greens. If you’re a vegan or a non-vegan, you are going to enjoy the food at Planet Terra.

2 Masti- Cocktails & Cuisine at Dubai Edition Hotel
Masti is a multi award-winning Michelin guide listed contemporary Indian restaurant located in the elegant Dubai Edition Hotel. Expect authentic Indian cuisine with a modern twist and creative cocktails. Their business lunch offers good value for money. Masti also does weekend brunch.

SushiArt has many locations across the city and my favorite branch is their JBR location. Expect delicious sushi, sashimi and more for reasonable price in a friendly atmosphere.

6 Ikigai Resto+ Bar at Millennium Place Dubai Marina

Saya Brasserie currently has 4 locations in the city and I visited their Dubai Hills Mall outlet. Saya is a pink and floral themed cafe/brasserie that offers American style breakfast, hearty a la carte menu and desserts. Saya is one of the most Instagrammable cafes in Dubai.

Barasti is a Dubai institution renowned for its lively and buzzing atmosphere. And this summer Barasti brings the summer tent back with disco tropicana vibes. Expect disco-inspired tracks, pumping house music, great beverages and comfort food.
