My first week of the new year started with a culinary journey to the new venues in town. One of the new restaurants that I tried was Señor Pico. It is a licensed Mexican restaurant which is located at Palm West Beach in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
Rooted in rich Californian history Señor Pico serves authentic Mexican and Mexican-American flavors. We enjoyed the memorable fusion fare, signature cocktails and an inviting casual atmosphere.
The interiors of the restaurant is vibrant, cool and casual with hip music playing in the background. Señor Pico features an indoor and outdoor dining area with a lovely beachfront. Pets are allowed in the outdoor area.
Their drinks menu has an innovative list of cocktails, mocktails, wide selection of tequila and mezcal along with other spirits. We tried few of their signature cocktails- Pico’s Pomelo, Pinky Gonzalez, Frozen Passion Fruit Margarita and Michelada. The cocktails were perfectly handcrafted and tasted refreshing.
Their food menu offers starters, salads, ceviche, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, speciality tortas, tazones and desserts. They also have a kids menu. Being a vegetarian I was happy with the many good vegetarian and vegan options.
We ordered Nachos, Cauli Frita, Taquitos De Papa, Salad Fresca, Tacos and Churros for dessert. Each and every dish was delicious and packed a flavorful punch. The presentation, taste and the flavor of the food was excellent.
Señor Pico is a great new addition to the dining scene in Dubai. The location, the view, the atmosphere, the drinks, the food and the service is top notch. A must-try!
