Food Central is a brand new addition to the dining scene in City Centre Deira. Food Central is your culinary hub from cuisines from all around the world. It is like an upmarket food hall but with affordable pricing.
Located in the Level 2 of the mall, Food Central has various outlets with different cuisines, speciality coffee place, bakery, cafe, juice parlor, dessert parlor etc in a spacious and sublime setting.
After we were through with our shopping, we hit up Food Central for desserts and right at the entrance we found Glow, a kiosk serving ice creams, sundaes, shakes, waffles, crepes and other desserts.
We started off with one of their signature ice cream sundae Mango & Strawberry. It was refreshing and the combination of mango ice cream with fresh strawberries worked very well.
Next we shared Caramel Waffle and Nutella Crêpe. Both of them were sinfully delicious and had us asking for more. Lastly we ordered a Strawberry Vanilla Cake Shake which was too sweet and thick. We didn’t like it.
Overall we enjoyed our experience at Glow. It is a cool place with great offerings, certainly a venue to visit when you are shopping in DCC.
