There are some restaurants you always keep going back and one such restaurant for me is Social House. Since the time it has opened in Dubai, I’ve been visiting regularly. The reason for that is good food, beautiful atmosphere, great view and flawless service.
This time on my mall crawl, I popped in for a quick lunch at Social House. The restaurant was half-full and we sat by the window seat overlooking the Dubai Fountain and the iconic Burj Khalifa.
Social House is located on the Lower Ground Floor of The Dubai Mall. It is a spacious venue with ample and varied seating options.
The interiors of Social House is cool, casual and oh-so-chic and the atmosphere is buzzy. It is a great spot to catch up with friends and also a good venue to share a meal with your family. The restaurant also offers a private dining space.
Their menu is elaborate and features classic dishes from the east to popular dishes from the west. Currently they’ve a limited time Burger Promotion going on. As the burger menu didn’t have vegetarian option, we ordered from their lunch/dinner menu. Social House also has a breakfast menu.

We started off with their signature Homemade Grandma Iced Tea and Pomegranate Juice to quench our thirst.
As our starter we had the Quinoa Freekeh Salad and Mezze Platter. The salad was super refreshing and nourishing. It was a meal in itself.
The mezze platter consisted of cheese samosa, beetroot falafel, labneh, hummus, beetroot hummus, baba ganoush and zaatar bread. The mezze platter was excellent and a great vegetarian option.
For main course we ordered two of their most popular dishes- Mie Goreng and Nasi Goreng. Both the dishes had authentic Indonesian flavor, the taste and texture transported me back to my last year’s Bali holidays. Highly recommend both these exquisite dishes.
As their portion size was huge, we didn’t have any space for dessert. Going to come back one of these days to try some of the new desserts in their menu.
Social House at The Dubai Mall ticks all the right boxes, no wonder I keep going back time and again.
