After a lovely staycation in one of the resorts in Palm Jumeirah and on our way back home we stopped over at German Doner Kebab in Cluster W, Liwa Height Building in JLT for a quick lunch.
Doner Kebab is a fast food retailer that has created a healthy and nutritionally balanced approach to traditional kebabs. They opened their first store in Berlin-Germany in 1989 and now they’ve outlets in many parts of the world.
Dubai has many German Doner Kebab outlets and the JLT branch is the first outlet to be open in Dubai. As this branch is located on the lake level, the view is nice and it has an outdoor and indoor seating area.
In this hot summer season we didn’t have a choice but to dine indoors. The venue is cosy with comfortable seating area. Their menu is simple and easy to order. We were happy to note that vegetarians also had options, being vegetarians we only ordered veggie food.
We had Bottled Ayran and Bottled Juice to drink. To eat we ordered Mix Salad, Onion Rings, Chili Cheese Bites, Veggie Kebab With Fries and Veggie Burger With Fries. We also tried their 3 Signature Sauces- Garlic, Yogurt and Spicy.
When we ordered the food, we didn’t have any expectations as it was our first visit, but we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing food. Each and everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Even a simple thing like fries were so good. The veggie kebab was oh-so-yummy and juicy.
Our lunch experience at German Doner Kebab was great. The food, the drinks and the service was fabulous. The pricing is reasonable and affordable. You can order online or dine-in.
