Desi Junction is the new addition to the pocket friendly restaurant scene in the foodie hub of Karama in Dubai. It is brave and commendable to open a new restaurant in this bleak time.
Recently when I was craving for flavor rich and comforting desi/Indian food I came across Desi Junction on my Instagram feed. I thought I’ll give them a try and ordered lunch delivery from them.
Their simple menu consists of value for money combos, drinks, sides, tawa items with pao, chaats, desi veg and traditional lagan dishes. Being a vegetarian I ordered the veg dishes.
I ordered few of their dishes and shared it with my family. The dishes we had were Vada Pao, Boondi Chana Chaat, Bombay Pao Bhaji, Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Makhani and Zeera Rice. Their refreshing Mango Lassi went very well with the meal.
Desi Junction’s vada pao and pao bhaji was perfection and their authentic flavor took me back to the streets of Mumbai. The boondi chaat was light and tasty. Dal Makhani had an amazing homemade flavor where as the paneer tikka masala was rich, creamy and utterly delicious. The zeera rice with green peas was simple yet delightful and made a great combo with the dal makhani and paneer tikka masala.
My family and I enjoyed the food delivery from Desi Junction. The packaging was done right, the flavor, taste and texture of the dishes were authentic and delectable. The pricing is reasonable and affordable. If you’re a Desi food lover, you should add this restaurant to your must-order-delivery list.
