Happy to report that there is a cool new urban eatery in town and it is a homegrown concept started by an Emirati lady. The name of this newest eatery is Pulled. On Thursday evening we were there for the preview.
Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Umm Suqeim, Pulled is a contemporary and chic eatery with industrial-inspired decor. The venue is cosy and welcoming with friendly staff.
Pulled has a small menu that mainly features burgers, sides, monkey bread, ice cream, lemonade, coffee and soft drinks. Their concise menu makes it easy to order and the pricing is reasonable too.

We started off with two of their lemonades- Berry Yum Yum and Mint-Demeanor. Both the drinks were very refreshing.
The burgers from Pulled doesn’t come with fries. So you have to order them separately. We ordered Buss’ Down and it had loaded fries and we could choose chicken, beef or mushroom as topping along with cheese, ranch dressing, pickled jalapeños and chives.
Being vegetarians, we chose mushroom toppings. It was tasty and addictive. The portion size was big.
At the moment they only have three burgers in their menu and we tried Coke & ‘Shrooms which is a veggie option. It had pulled mushroom sandwich infused in cola with crispy iceberg lettuce, pickled onions and garlic mayo. We loved it.

Next we tried all the three kinds of Monkey Bread in their menu- Sticky Icky, Deez Nuts and Pump Up The Jam. All the three of them were an absolute treat. Our suggestion try them all.
Ended our meal with their scrumptious ice cream Pretzel & Salted Caramel. They offer unique and interesting selection of ice cream which is worth trying.
We enjoyed our Pulled experience. If you love comfort food and want to support local eateries, then you should definitely give them a try.
