Food blogging takes me to every nook and corner of the city. Through my love of eating I not only discover a new eatery, I also get to explore a new locality/district of Dubai. The lure of a new place brought me to Jumeirah Village Circle on a Saturday evening to have a meal at Socialicious.
Located in the Ground Floor of Condor Castle Residence in JVC, Socialicious is a modern Asian fusion restaurant. Their menu features a range of Asian dishes that promises to cater to all kinds of taste buds. As a vegetarian I was not disappointed with their menu.
The interiors of Socialicious is cool, casual and funky. They’ve an indoor and outdoor dining area. We loved the fact that Socialicious is a pet-friendly venue and you can get your pets when you dine at the restaurant.

We tried their new menu for dinner. To drink we were offered Isle of Curaçao, a mocktail. It was too sweet, we didn’t enjoy it much. Next we had the flavorsome and nutrient-rich Wakame Soup.

Avocado Nachos was a light and refreshing appetizer. After that we had the Greens and Citrus Salad. It was a simple yet tasty salad with a medley of greens, mesclun and fruits in citrus dressing.
Shitake Mushroom Bao was one of the standout dishes we tried that evening. It tasted phenomenal and was served with hand cut sweet potato fries and dips.
For our mains we had the Thai Green Curry that was served with rice and crackers. The green curry was creamy, flavorful and delicious.

The dessert Mango Passion Crémeux was delightful. We ended our dinner with a pot of soothing and relaxing China Green Rose Tea.
Our dining experience at Socialicious was great. The taste and flavor of the food was good, but the portion size was small. Service was quick and efficient. The long drive to Socialicious was worth it.
