Piadera- The Place for Authentic Italian Flatbread and More

Piadina

I was supposed to visit Piadera few months ago, but somehow it didn’t happen. But finally I visited them for dinner last evening and what a delicious experience it was! I’m already planning my next visit.

Piadera has many outlets in Dubai, we visited their Al Seef branch which is located on the heritage district of scenic Dubai Creek. It is a rustic and gorgeous venue on the shores of the creek and a perfect location to indulge in an authentic and delectable Italian meal. Their Al Seef branch features an indoor dining area as well as an outdoor dining area.

Piadera Dubai

Before I write about my dining experience in Piadera, I want to tell you all about Piadina:

Piadina or Piada is a thin Italian flatbread, typically prepared in the Romagna region. It is usually sold sandwich-style by street vendors in Italy. So you can expect different kinds of delicious filling in a Piadina.

At Piadera the dough for the Piadina is made hand made daily with low yeast from 100% Italian flour which is stone ground with no additives and GMO-free.

Piadera’s menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their menu features different kinds of Piadina as well as salads, Calzone, pasta, desserts, speciality coffee and freshly squeezed juices. Both vegetarians and non vegetarians have good options.

Piadera Al Seef Dubai

We started with the refreshing and super healthy Ginger Lemon Detox. Next we ordered their signature Quinoa Salad. It was fresh, nutritious, wholesome and absolutely tasty.

It was time to order their Piadina and we ordered two different ones– Caprese Piadina, which had a filling of homemade buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh pesto sauce. The other one was the Indian-inspired Tava Paneer Piadina stuffed with crunchy curry veggies and paneer. The Caprese had an authentic Italian taste where as the Tava Paneer had an Indo-Italian flavor. But both of them were extremely delicious and nourishing.

We also ordered Pasta with Arrabbiata Sauce that had a burrata topping. It was rich with taste and flavor.

Italian Coffee

Dessert was a delightful affair as we loved their Nutella Flatbread. It was stuffed with Nutella and slices of banana.

To round off we ordered a cup of Cappuccino, which was freshly brewed. It was a perfect cup of Italian coffee.

We enjoyed our dinner experience at Piadera. Everything from the food, drinks to the atmosphere, service and hospitality was fabulous. Its a place I don’t mind visiting again and again.
