Some of us will never believe that healthy food can be delicious, I have a suggestion visit Mantoushe and you’ll change your mind. A recent visit to Mantoushe for lunch and I’m wowed by their fresh, natural, nutritious and tasty food.
Located in the foodie hub of JLT in Dubai, Mantoushe is a Lebanese fusion restaurant that serves food which is preservative and addictive free.
You can expect locally sourced fresh quality ingredients in all their dishes. Everything is cooked and baked in-house in their open kitchen.
The restaurant is small and has a cute and cosy setting with an indoor and outdoor dining area. The highlight inside the restaurant is the vast open kitchen. It was a joy to watch our food being prepared.
The concept according to team Mantoushe:
Inspired by the delectable Lebanese Cuisine, we created a whole new set of flavors that make your taste buds curious with excitement. Combining Falafel and Guacamole, bringing a whole new dimension to the word fusion. Mantoushe provides a palette of flavors to customize your very own wrap or salad invention like never before.
Their menu is simple and straight to the point, so it is easy to order. They also serve breakfast. Their juices are freshly made and we ordered the Vegetable Juice. It had an apple juice base with celery and ginger. It was refreshingly energizing, healthy and delicious.
We started off with the Mana’eesh Beirut. Being vegetarians, we opted for the veggie options and ordered the Zaatar & Labneh Mana’eesh with pomegranate seeds. Hot Mana’eesh came fresh out of the oven and it was comfort food at its best.
The garden-fresh Quinoa Tabboule was freshly chopped after we ordered and in fact all the salads are prepped after placing the order.
Next we had their signature Hommos Bar, it consisted of 6 kinds of hummus served along with homemade pita crisps. Apart from the classic hummus, there were flavors like sriracha, guacmous, beetroot, jalapeño mint and sun dried tomato hummus. Each and every flavor was deliciously different and flavorful.
It was time to try their wraps and we ordered the Taster Trio Mini Wraps. It had Falafel-Gauc wrap, Fetazee wrap and Mezza wrap. Three great wraps and all of them made after we placed the order. Liked all of them, but my favorite was the wholesome and utterly delightful Falafel-Guac wrap.
Mantoushe also offers desserts, but we didn’t try and instead we had a freshly brewed organic Coffee.
Our overall experience was good, we liked the food and drinks. The service was a bit slow.
