The Address Downtown has reopened and looks classy and super stylish. Compared to before, it looks way better now, but with the same spectacular view of Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. Few days ago, we visited the hotel and had dinner at their signature restaurant- The Restaurant.
Located in the Lobby Level of Address Downtown, The Restaurant is open 24 hours. The charming and spacious venue features indoor and outdoor dining area.
As the weather was good, we sat in their terrace soaking in the spectacular view of Burj Khalifa and the famous Dubai Fountain. The terrace overlooks the hotel’s secret gardens and the swimming pool.
The concept of The Restaurant according to their team:
A distinguished one-of-a-kind dining concept. The Restaurant at Address Downtown offers a refreshingly original home-away-from-home experience. Serving cuisine inspired by French and British flavors. The Restaurant provides distinctive spaces such as the Lounge, Library, Dining Room, Living Room, Kitchen or the Gallery to retreat to, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We started our dinner with two of their very sweet -tasting Mocktails which weren’t special or extraordinary and you’ll find it in any other place in town.
Amuse bouche
The chef sent us complimentary Mint Green Pea Velouté as our amuse bouche. It was a bowl of creamy goodness with goat cheese and spring onion.
Appetizers
The prettiest looking Aubergine that we had ever seen. It was topped with labneh, pomegranate and sumac. A good suggestion by their chef. If you’re an aubergine lover like me, don’t miss this delicious dish.
Next we had the refreshing and flavorful Beetroot Salad with strong rich stilton cheese, green apple and walnuts. We were also offered a Bread Basket.
Mains
Being vegetarians, we opted for Ricotta Cheese Ravioli with herbs and aromatic broth and Linguine with black truffle and soft boiled egg. Both the dishes were packed with amazing flavors and tasted extremely good.
Desserts
Dessert was an indulgent and sumptuous affair. We loved the Coconut + Soya Panna Cotta and Vanilla Crème Brûlée & Pecan Praline Profiterole.
Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at The Restaurant in Address Downtown. The presentation, plating, flavor and taste of the food was outstanding. The service was a bit slow. The atmosphere is sublime and sophisticated.
We ended our visit to Address Downtown with a brief half an hour stop at their night lounge NEOS on the 61st floor for a drink.
