Just before the holy month of Ramadan starts in UAE, we wanted to go to a Friday brunch as the brunch season will end when Ramadan starts. We didn’t want to go to just another restaurant, we wanted to visit a special restaurant with good food.
From the hustle and bustle of city life in Dubai, we drove down to Ajman, the northern Emirate of UAE. The destination of our Friday brunch was Sabella’s Organic Italian Restaurant in the iconic Ajman Hotel.
Sabella’s is an authentic organic Italian restaurant headed by Italian chef Zampriglio Massimiliano and his team. You can expect delicious Italian food made with fresh and high quality ingredients.
The restaurant is spacious with minimalistic and clean decor. The venue also features a private terrace that offers a spectacular sea view and lush garden. There is a live band that plays during the Friday brunch.
For the Friday brunch, Sabella’s not only offers Italian specialities, it also features a variety of international cuisine. They’ve live cooking stations where you can get your pizza and pasta customized according to your taste.
While we adults were enjoying the live music over a glass of wine, our little girl got her face painted by their talented artist and balloon maker. She also loved the kids buffet as it had all her favorites.
Their buffet had so many dishes, we didn’t know where to start. We started with their soup and then helped ourselves to their refreshing salads. Liked the selection of cheese, bread, starters, mains and desserts.
My personal favorites were the freshly made bruschetta, panini, pizza and pasta.
Their brunch offers something for everyone, whether you are a vegetarian, meat eater or a seafood lover. They’ve a separate grill section which was very popular with all the guests.
I have to specially mention about their amazing desserts, there was a good variety of Italian desserts as well as international flavors. We were spoilt for choice. For the health conscious, there was seasonal fruits that were sliced and kept inside a refrigerator.
To round off our brunch, we had a cup of freshly brewed cappuccino.
We loved the laid back and relaxed Friday brunch at Sabella’s. The food, the drinks, the service, the entertainment and the atmosphere was fabulous. Certainly want to visit Sabella’s again.
