I am always on a lookout for good coffee shops in the city, I stumbled upon Double B Coffee & Tea when I was having my lunch at a restaurant adjacent to the coffee shop. I pulled my friend along and we hit up Double B Coffee & Tea to try their coffee.
Double B Coffee & Tea is a coffee shop chain from Russia that was founded in 2012 by Anna Tsfasman. It has locations in cities like Moscow, St. Petersburg, Prague, Barcelona, Tbilisi etc.
Double B has opened their first Middle Eastern Store in City Walk Dubai. At the moment they only serve coffee and tea, both cold and hot. Very soon they will be introducing bakery items too.
Double B has a typical coffee shop atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating area. Their baristas and staff are mostly Russian.
This specialty coffee shop serves the famous Russian coffee drink-The Raf, an espresso coffee shot with cream and sugar steamed together.
We tried their signature Lavender Raf, a light and creamy mix of freshly brewed espresso with a slight hint of lavender. We also tried the Wild Rose Cappuccino. Both the coffees were incredible.
I also tried their freshly ground Hario V60 coffee. Next we tried their fancy coffee which has become an Instagram favorite- Cloud. This gorgeous looking Cloud is an Australian Lungo made with Ethiopian beans.
The coffee is covered with cotton candy cloud topped with peanut and honey cookie filled with crème brûlée sauce. The hot coffee makes the cold cloud melt, with sweet drops falling in the cup and balancing the acidic taste of coffee with its sweetness. It was a unique and good cup of coffee.
I didn’t try their tea or iced drinks, I’ll make a trip for that very soon. They also have dairy free coffee and other drinks. We absolutely loved their coffee and would love to recommend this wonderful coffee shop for all coffee connoisseurs.
