Mexican cuisine is one of the cuisines that I love. And if you ask me which is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Dubai? The answer will be La Tablita. I’ve visited them at least three times since they opened not so long ago.
Recently, La Tablita that is located at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights launched a Friday Drunch. Now Friday brunch is not the only option, there is a brand new drunch which is a combo of late lunch and dinner. It happens on every Friday between 4pm-6pm.
La Tablita is a spacious venue with modern interiors. This colorful restaurant and bar has Mexican inspired decor. They’ve various kinds of seating arrangements-from booths to tables and bar stools.
They day we visited La Tablita for Friday Drunch was a dry day. So the place wasn’t as lively as it was during my previous visits. On the drunch days there is a live performer who will keep you entertained with peppy Mexican songs.
For the drunch, there is no queuing up near the buffet counter, everything is served at your table. You can expect a relaxed time at their Friday Drunch.
La Tablita’s Friday Drunch features unlimited Margaritas and Cantaritos apart from chef’s choice of Ceviches, Tacos and Caldos.
Whether you are a non vegetarian or a vegetarian, La Tablita has it covered. Being a vegetarian, I tried their veg dishes.
As I told you earlier, it was a dry day so I couldn’t enjoy their popular tequila based drinks and had to stick to non alcoholic mocktails which were not that great.
But we relished the delicious food. Everything from Tortillas with dips to Tacos and Caldos were amazing. We couldn’t try the ceviche as they didn’t have vegetarian option available. Both the drinks and food are unlimited. For desserts we were served their scrumptious Très Lèches and divine tasting Churros.
Good food was complemented by fabulous service. If you love Mexican food and want to do something different on a Friday then I’ll certainly recommend the Friday Drunch at La Tablita.
