More Cafe- Roda Al Murooj

More Cafe in Roda Al Murooj
More Cafe is a well-known cafe here in Dubai, I had the pleasure of visiting their newly opened outlet recently. And I must say, I am impressed by this cafe. From the food and drinks to the ambience and service, everything was amazing.

Located in the Roda Al Murooj complex in Downtown Dubai, More Cafe is a great place to go for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Their menu is vast and varied with a wide selection of dishes.

More Cafe is a family friendly restaurant and cafe. This spacious cafe has various kinds of seating arrangement. They also have a cool library, where you can sit and read in peace. The outdoor seating area offers the stunning Burj view.

Industrial decor
They also have a retail section in the cafe. This urban cafe has modern and edgy interiors. Loved the industrial chic decor of the cafe. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid-back. Its a good place to catch up with friends or dine with colleagues or family.

After being seated, we were offered complimentary basket of Bread and Butter.

Lavender Julep
We ordered two of their signature drinks- Lavender Julep and More Elderflower Breeze. Both the drinks were refreshing.

Whether you are a vegetarian or a non vegetarian, More Cafe offers plenty of choices. As we are vegetarians, we only ordered the vegetarian dishes in the menu. Here’s what we ordered:

Appetizers

Spinach and pumpkin salad

As I like goat’s cheese and eggplant, I ordered the Goat’s Cheese with Eggplant. It had warm goat’s cheese with eggplant and Parmesan cheese on sautéed spinach topped with blue cheese. It was served with tomato pesto vinaigrette and bread on the side. Definitely recommend this dish for goat’s cheese lover.

Spinach & Roasted Pumpkin Salad was fresh, light and tasty. It had baby spinach leaves with oven roasted pumpkin and Feta cheese, tossed with pine nuts and balsamic dressing.

Main Course

Potato gnocchi

Gnocchi with Taleggio Fondue & Truffle Oil was utterly delicious. Their handmade potato gnocchi was served in a creamy white sauce with asparagus, green peas and black truffle oil.

Giant Spinach Ricotta Ravioli had two color ravioli filled with spinach and Ricotta cheese with their homemade tomato sauce. It was drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, pesto and Parmesan. Their ravioli was delicious and wholesome.

Dessert

More Cafe offers a range of desserts in their menu apart from artisan ice creams and cakes freshly baked in-store. We ordered two of their freshly baked cakes from their dessert counter.

Red Espresso
Salted Caramel Cake looked good, but it was not moist. I wish it tasted as good and soft as it looked.

Carrot Cake is their signature dessert and it came highly recommended. Their carrot cake was absolutely delightful. It was super-moist with ultra-creamy cheese frosting that was topped with bits of dry fruits.

We ended our dinner with Red Espresso Chai Latte. Red Espresso is a strong Rooibos tea from South Africa that produces a smooth, full bodied, rich tasting flavor that is high in antioxidants. This non-caffeine tea is the perfect coffee alternative promoting good health and well-being.

I had never tried Red Espresso before, and I absolutely loved it.

Overall, we had a great dining experience. The food, the drinks., the atmosphere and the service was good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend More Cafe to my family and friends.
