Business Lunch at SpiceKlub

Indian restaurants in Mankhool, Dubai
A week before Ramadan started, I went back to SpiceKlub restaurant in Mankhool, this time to try their newly launched Business Lunch. Its almost a year since SpiceKlub opened in Dubai, and it has become very popular for its creative food with bold flavors.

I had liked the food at SpiceKlub when I had visited them for dinner few months ago. With couple of friends in tow, I landed at the restaurant one early afternoon for Business Lunch.

Business Set Lunch

The business set lunch menu is available on all weekdays except public holidays. And you get to choose between Two-Course-Set-Menu or Three-Course-Set-Menu. It does not include drinks, and for drinks, you need to pay extra.

Two-course-set-menu is priced at AED 39 per person and Three-course-set-menu is priced at AED 49 per person. We opted for the three-course-set-menu.

Drinks

Kokum

While we were waiting for our food to arrive, we ordered our drinks- Seasonal Fruit Lassi and Kokum Margarita with Chilli Caviar. My friends enjoyed both the drinks. Honestly speaking, I am not a big fan of their drinks as I find it too heavy.

Our Business Lunch Experience

As we were opting for the three-course-set-menu, we got to choose-1 appetizer, 1 main course, 1 dal, 1 rice, 1 Indian bread and 1 dessert.

Paneer papdi
The three of us chose Ganderi Kebab, Galouti Kebab and Paneer Lapeta. Except Paneer Lapeta, which was a bit dry, all the other appetizers were fantastic.

For main course, we ordered Rajma Masala and Veg Kadai. Both these dishes had homemade flavor and taste. We liked it.

Veg Kadai
The Dal Kabila and Dal Makhani was well-made and tasted amazing.

Veg Pulao made with long-grained basmati rice and veggies was fragrant and tasty.

We loved the option of gluten-free Roti in the assortment of Indian breads. There were also breads like naan, wholewheat Roti and Roomali Roti. All the breads were freshly baked and served hot.

Dessert

Paan

Paan Mousse their bite sized paan flavored molecular dessert was scrumptious. Cone-o-Mania which was their in-house nitrogen ice cream was light and refreshing. It came in two flavors- pistachio and mango.

We enjoyed their business lunch, its a real value-for-money deal, that is definitely worth trying.
