Dubai’s creek offers a plethora of choices when it comes to cruising, but there is one cruise line that stands apart for its beauty, luxury, service and elegance- Bateaux Dubai. It has been on my must-visit list in Dubai for a while, I feel ecstatic to finally experience it.

Docked at the Deira side of Dubai creek, between ENDB Headquarters and Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Bateaux Dubai is a two and a half hour evening cruise with dinner.

Bateaux Dubai has a sleek design. It is a glass enclosed vessel with modern decor and personalized service. This air-conditioned luxurious cruise offers live entertainment. There was a pianist and live singer last evening on our voyage.
Gourmet Four Course Dinner with Beverages
After boarding the cruise, we were served a Welcome Drink and a platter of Canapés.
While taking in the sites of the historic Dubai creek, we enjoyed a gourmet four course dinner. Bateaux Dubai cruise experience offers two packages- Soft beverage and House beverage package. Both the package includes a non alcoholic welcome drink, canapés and a four course a la carte gourmet dinner.
Bateaux offers great options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Being a vegetarian, I opted for their vegetarian four course dinner. Before we could start our dinner, we were offered a basket of Bread.
Their beverage list features a good variety of wines, beers and other spirits. Premium beverages are also available at an extra charge.
Our first course was a creamy and tasty Vegetable Soup. We wouldn’t have minded a second helping of this delicious soup.
Next came the starters, while I ordered the Salade Composée, hubby ordered the Mezza Chaud Froid. The refreshing salad had a medley of veggies with pomegranate vinaigrette. The mezza consisted of delectable beetroot hummus, avocado mash, Halloumi cheese roll, spinach fatayer and crispy Arabic bread.
For main course, we ordered Vegetable Ragout & Angel hair pasta and Aubergine La Provençale. Both our main course dishes were outstanding. The Veg Ragout with pasta was our favorite as it had a spark of flavors that took us on a fun adventure.
The fourth and final course was the dessert. We ordered Hazelnut Coffee Cake and Lemon & Mojito Panna Cotta. The Hazelnut Coffee Cake was moist with subtle sweetness. It was served with meringue and hazelnut ice cream. Lemon & Mojito Panna Cotta had a great combo of a dessert and a cocktail and tasted utterly delicious.
We ended our evening with a pot of Green Tea.
Sightseeing
During the cruise, we got to see the historic old neighborhoods, traditional wind towers, old souks and wooden boats downloading goods.

All the guests were given a cruise map. The creek divides the old city into two parts- Bur Dubai and Deira. Our cruise took us past the mesmerizing sights on both the sides of Dubai Creek which has played a major role in the region’s economic development and was particularly important for pearl diving.
We had a wonderful sightseeing adventure onboard Bateaux Dubai. What a flavorful journey it was. Bateaux is one of Dubai’s top experiences and a must-try Dubai event for all tourists and residents.
