Say Hello to Stomping Grounds the latest coffeeshop in town. Stomping Grounds is more than just another cafe, it is a specialty coffee hub.
I was invited to the official opening of the much awaited specialty coffee hub on February 4th. It was inaugurated by the Counsel General of Australia.
Stomping Grounds is located at Jumeirah. It is a beautiful villa turned into a cafe, with indoor and outdoor seating. It also has a barista academy on the top floor.
The cafe inside is really nice, l loved the coffee bar, the on-site roastery and the wooden furniture. Not to miss the handcrafted door, each and everything is unique. The whole place is done up tastefully. It has a vintage vibe. I fell in love with the simple, but elegant interiors.
The outdoor seating is wonderful- it is surrounded by plants and flowers. A great place to sit outside with a cup of coffee in this beautiful weather.
Stomping Grounds is an Australian based specialty coffee hub now open in Dubai. I sampled three different kinds of coffee. I must say Stomping Grounds brews one of the best coffee in town.
What Can you expect from Stomping Grounds?
Coffee made from high quality coffee beans. Their range includes single origin and blends. You can expect delicious, strong and flavorful specialty coffee brewed by their talented baristas.
I had a Single Origin Coffee, Latte and Cold Coffee. It was coffee at it’s best. I would want to come back and try all their other coffees.
I also got to sample some of their quick bites and sweets. There was Mushroom tarts, Mini burgers, Cucumber & cheese sandwich and Mozzarella cherry tomato sandwich. I tried all the vegetarian sandwiches. I especially liked the Cucumber & cheese sandwich.
As for sweets, I had the lemon tart, Pistachio tart and Saffron tart. They were okay, not extraordinary.
I would love to try their breakfast and brunch menu next time. I am sure they will offer something great.
Overall, I had an amazing experience. Great coffee, delectable finger food, friendly and helpful staff and charming place. I know where to go for a coffee break- Stomping Grounds.
