Stereo Arcade is an amazing new addition to Dubai’s nightlife scene. It opened last year. Stereo Arcade is located in DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Jumeirah Beach Residence.
I had never heard of this place, until I got invited there to attend an album launch party last week. I am glad that I finally discovered this wonderful bar.
Stereo Arcade is a cool concept. It is a blend of three different concepts. The Gaming Arcade in the middle, a retro Club on the left and a Bar on the right.The bar also has a stage for live performances. It is an amazing and unique concept.
After checking out the arcade games, my friend and I headed over to the bar. The music launch was at the bar. The bar is well designed and well stocked. It is an industrial inspired bar with mounted wooden crates as shelves for bottles and exposed brick walls. We totally loved the bar.
The atmosphere of the bar is lively and energetic. Stereo Arcade is one of the cool destination in JBR. They play 80’s and 90’s music. I liked the fact that Stereo Arcade encourages the local musicians.
We started off with a round of drinks. The drinks menu offers a wide range of beverages. They have an extensive list of cocktails, great beer and wine selection and other spirits.
As for the food, they serve the usual pub grub- fries,nachos, sliders, pizza etc. They also offer salads. We ordered the Zucchini Fries and Nachos with Cheese and Salsa.
The Zucchini fries were too oily and tasteless. The Nachos with cheese and salsa is a basic dish. It was okay, it didn’t taste extraordinary. The portion size was big.
I feel it’s best to stick to the drinks, food needs to be improved. The pricing is mid range. The service is quick and efficient.
After we finished our drinks and food, we went over to the Club. The club has a cool vibe. They play great music mostly from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
Overall I had a great experience. It is an amazing concept. Loved the music, drinks and the decor. Perfect place for a great night-start off with arcade games, then head over to the bar for live music and drinks and then hit the club to party. One place- 3 options.
